This commitment is explicitly manifested in the group's purpose: To generate sustainable wealth throughout the agri-food chain through seeds, thanks to accomplished and committed teams, a fact that reaffirms the Group's commitment to integrating sustainability in all its areas, making it a public commitment that demands consistency and compliance in every decision.
Our 20 Impactful Projects
Our Sustainability Plan comprises 20 strategic projects that have a cross-cutting impact across all departments of the company and its environment. Each of these projects is aligned with specific targets of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in accordance with the purpose of the 2030 Agenda.
The SDGs constitute a global framework for action that synthesizes the main sustainable development challenges we face. Their translation into concrete goals provides a roadmap that guides action toward systemic transformations capable of promoting inclusive socioeconomic development, preserving natural resources, and strengthening the conditions that allow all people to prosper equitably. This framework is articulated through 17 strategic goals and 169 targets, the achievement of which is planned for 2030.

Retina ECO Awards
In the Sustainable Ecosystem category, for the development of a pioneering methodology that allows for measuring the environmental impact of horticultural varieties. This system, aligned with European standards, makes it possible to quantify key indicators such as carbon, water, and energy footprints, and has already demonstrated reductions of up to 12% in the environmental impact of crops.
Forbes–UBS Sustainability Award
In the Food Industry category, which recognizes companies leading sustainable strategies with a real impact on their sector, the jury highlighted the scientific rigor, applicability, and transformative potential of their project, capable of adding value to the entire agri-food chain.
